Elizabeth Cieri

Elizabeth Cieri Ms. Cieri has more than 20 years of experience in education. She worked in the nation’s 14th largest urban school district, where she served as a teacher, site-based school literacy leader and academic coach. Currently, she designs and facilitates targeted professional development for schools and districts in several focus areas, ranging from literacy to infusing technology into classrooms. Her skills include aligning youth development programming with school-day academic content/standards and incorporating research-based components and best practices into program design and delivery. As the Director of Teaching and Learning for Foundations, Inc., she is responsible for supporting schools and afterschool programs through professional development, strategic and comprehensive planning, site visits, evaluation and monitoring of performance.

Ms. Cieri earned a master’s degree in education at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, and a bachelor’s degree in communication and theater from Alma College in Alma, Michigan. She holds Pennsylvania teacher certifications in Elementary Education and Middle School English.
